Don't kow if the bean in the picture is the P. vulgaris. But, the P. vulgaris 'Soissons' is the original one. Nowadays there is also a P. coccineus 'Soissons' on the market. The original one is available at Vreeken https://www.vreeken.nl/045360-droogbonen-stok-soissons-gros-blanc-rames
